Mankz: Is it the switch or the clackyness as the key hits the backplate? If bottoming out is the issue you might find O-rings to be the best option.

Ooh, a conundrum! A pair of loaners are available for postage, £5 by Collect+, and I'll let two go by sale at £15/each, £10 of which will be going to sponsor my Girl who's swimming the channel for Diabetes UK in summer.

Reason for the split is I'd like to keep hold of a couple for novelty, but keeping 4 would be greedy.

Probably my man-hands mashing against the backplates if im honest...

Well, in that case, I still need another/new board for the office as mine is at home.

Can't go wrong with a Filco - I love both of the ones I've bought, a set of O-rings should help, but it does take a bit of practice to be a bit more delicate. Maybe blacks would be a better switch for you next time - they're a bit stiffer than reds so should be easier to modulate your stabbyness.

You're going to be beating me and I ordered first :p

No clue where mine are - very busy atm with work so I haven't had time to chase or give it much thought :( hopefully one day I will go home from work and they will be there.

    I'm impatient... that's all :D

Right here are pics - I've made a video of the unboxing which I will upload shortly.

    Here's the box:

And I grabbed a handful of keys and could not believe what I pulled out - lucky B*GGER is gonna get one or all of these rare keys! How much is a GH key worth anyways?

Oh and the pink "spread" key shows that somebody at SP has a wry sense of humour, LOOOOL :D

I'll start the counting today and get these in the post tomorrow so gentlemen you may have your keycaps as early as Saturday.

I can't work out postage until I weigh the caps but that will be done tonight and I'll get jiffy bags sorted out too.

In the interim it would be helpful if the group-buyers could send me a PM with their delivery details!

Customs handling will be £3.50 each and postage is likely to be another £3 on top of that, but I'll give you an exact amount later.

    Cheers :thumb:

GH caps are only worth something once someone tries to complete the set so hang on to it for future sales :D

They're all point of sale and other machine keycaps that SP make. They're not at all rare. It's amazing to think that us hobbyists for less then 10% of SP's business.

Why is that amazing when it's an incredibly niche hobby?

I didn't mean all of the ones in the picture kid... I meant the three smileys and the GH key, which are not POS but custom made for a specific market. ;) The green shift is certainly not common either.

In any case, this is just a small portion of one bag... three more bags to open, then I'll mix them, count them, and get them packed for shipping tomorrow. I'm sure I'll find other goodies in there. :)

I'd say at this point that 99.9% of the keys are MX compatible double shots; there are some completely blank keys and some lasered/dye-sub keys, and also some other switch types, but VERY few from what I can see.

Fair enough Margo. And yes Lenny, there are some relatively good caps in each bag. Pretty much everyone on GH managed to get a whole RGB modifier set- all I'm saying is send one to me.

Also Lenny, look out for any ALPS caps in there, there have been plenty in other people's bags so it's something to look out for if you're keeping one of your AT102s, especially as there are doubleshot ALPS caps. :)

Royal mail will do it tracked in the UK and send it through ParcelForce Worldwide for like 8.50GBP. Standard airmail is about 4GBP to the US.

OK that's the keycaps counted and bagged - 4,050 in total, give or take a couple.

As for postage weight, the bags are actually quite heavy with just over 500 keycaps in them, so postage ain't gonna be cheap I'm afraid - certainly a few squid. I will get my shiz together and send out an invoice by PM within the next hour. :thumb:
