Anyone have any idea why their site is down? Says under construction on the default page (www.meshcomputers.com) which seems a little strange.....

Only wondering as was considering asking them to quote for a new computer room (school).

PS sorry if this is in the wrong place, just did not seem right asking about a pre-built system company on the hardware part of the forum.

    Cheers!

Just a warning. They make great computers, but I would query their after sales service. I had a top of the range mesh a few years ago and bit were faulty on it, but I never did get the service I needed. It was quite hard to work with them. On the other hand, they may have changed. I'd say the pcs would at least be better than the HP's we have at work. Almost everyone of them apart from ine had had allot of problems.

i'll second this. their service is awful. they replaced a dead 9800 pro with a non pro (lower clock speed, 128bit memory bus instead of 256bit) that had been modified in its bios to report as a pro (!!!!!), and accused me of lying when i complained. actually, my machine was busted from the start, too. DOA hard drive, mobo died after 2 weeks and was replaced with a separate model, memory supplied was generic rather than corsair XMS as quoted.

    stay away.

oh: also it was REALLY REALLY LOUD. good god. i've never owned a louder machine.

I think FOD has confirmed my fear. Pity though cos I wouldnt recommend Dell, or HP either tbh.
