Translation: Expect even more 404 links on the MS site as they move things around and continue to forget to update the millions of links on the many many 'old' pages. Yeah I know, 'you should just use 'edge' and it'll all work perfectly'.. Right.. No - I will not.
Does this mean they're going to tell us what the "updates" they push out are actually doing to our computers? Yeah, I thought not.
It does look like it's gotten incrementally better. On the list of updates they all carry exactly the same description: But the page for the individual updates now seems to at least tell you what it's doing. I can't see any reason that the list of updates can't contain the papragraph from the KB article, or even the title, that describes what the update does.
Because most people don't care... Those who do care will click on the link to the individual update...
