depends where you inject, its temperature and how hard you pump it in... if you want to sit on a time bomb you CAN have instant Nitro... another (safer) engine mod you can do is to inject water into the cylinders mixed with pure alcohol... ;)

see Phats reply and mine :)

if it is taking a minute for your nitros to engage then you are doing some thing wrong, i run a dual shot NOS(thats a brand people not the product) Fogger system, in my 72 merc cougar GT super coup, and when i prime my system at the line, i put around 900 lbs of presure in the line that leads right up to the last "valve' befor the injectors.

using a didgital controled fire switch and a dyno, my system gains ~120 bhp in under .045 seconds from the time it fires. and the second shot is a little slower before it hits max power of right near 225 bhp at around .125 seconds.

nitros is about as fast a power boost you can have, turbos lagg, huffers(supper chagers) have parasitic loss, wipple charges is a cross between buffers and turbos, where as nitros is flick a switch, hit the button and there it is POWER, true turbo in a bottle :)

i dont like the water injection methoad because all it does is cool the intake and that gives a performance boost but it also wears out your engine, valves, exhaust way faster, and it can lead to detonation and thats a big power killer :(

    Those switches are cool but

maybe just a wee bit overkill. I think on a standard lan li or something that would look a bit out of place. Maybe on an extreme case or something it'd look cool but 20 just seems like such a rip for a switch. JMHO though.

    Happy modding!

That's the exact same kind of switch (Not the style, but momentary dpdt) that I used for the power window LCD mod... I might replace the one I have with that one in your post though, it's easier to mount cleanly...

U know the old alienware hydrolics? Right? I have one of those, and I painted it, and put in a powered motor for the hydrolic door (so it would go up and down). Right now it looks lind of ungly cuz the switch is just a standart flipswitch. I have a friend who knows where to get the military style caps for cheap, so i'm gonna put it on it :D
