Hey everyone, I needed some final advice in regards to a friend's build. His Macbook Pro broke and he's looking for something which is fairly portable and can fit in his small house, but can still run new games at high settings. Budget: £750 (can stretch to £800) Main uses of intended build: Gaming, general use. Parts required: Motherboard (MITX, S155) RAM: 8GB 1600MHz DDR3, preferably low profile. Processor: 2500k Graphics Card: GTX 560 Ti Low Profile heatsink suitable for overclocking. Case (MITX) Power Supply (600w PSU included in the case I suggested him) Previous build information (list details of parts): 13.3" Macbook Pro 2008 Monitor resolution: Not sure, using low-end CRT monitor until he has enough cash to get a small 1080p screen. Storage requirements: I'll be giving him a 1TB Samsung F3 to save on costs. will you be overclocking: yes/no (delete as required) As long as the temperatures are good, he'll be overclocking. Any motherboard requirements (no. of USB, Xfire/SLI, fan headers): No. Extra information about desired system: He will be keeping this build for a while, so it needs to be capable of supporting future upgrades. I'm mainly just looking for some advice on the build I've suggested him, but if there are enough issues with the components or if there's anything which I've mislooked then please suggest something else.
