Really looking great, love the window. :)

An idea for you, get a purple stain and do the lettering so it matches the grill. Second thought you probably have that glued so ... damn late with the thought. :)

I really like your woodworking. Very neat and clean The case overall looks great, and the contrast between the top grill and the light wood finish looks good. I have to say however that the dots and the mini monster letters on the front to me really take away from the nice clean look of the case. I just think the case would look a lot better without them.

Looking really nice Pete. The purple stands out.
The glass will be easier to clean as well.
Just need the final fittings and some photos ;)

Craig, the lettering is actually hand carved into the case,(no gluing involved) the stain on it is dark mahogany.
As you say its stain and not paint, so that the grain of the wood still remains.

It wouldnt be impossible to do it though, just tricky now its laquered and finish coat etc.

Voigts, the dots are a sore point with me, it was never my idea and obviously too late now.

Im in 100% agreement with you. (Carving without dots would be better)

Cheers Andy, yeah, not sure when im gonna get any bits into it though, Top grill is cool mate, just now you can see what i mean about the extra holes round the edge, as you can see the wooden ledge underneath, which would of looked better hidden, but hey it still looks nice.

Ive always prefered glass to plastic, and as its onlt small pieces required, it doesent add much to the weight.

Ok, whilst hard to say if new one is better, maybe just different, but the borders way better now, no wood seen through it.

    Cheers Furball.

I think its quite amusing, as when i change something and then prefer the first one, then i spend all day trying to convince myself that the new one is deffo better :D.

So thats a +1 for the new one then, poll close. :thumb:
    Second one wins.

Ive still not got the cash to put any bits into it as yet, the fact that i wont even use this pc, keeps me from filling it sadly.

Be nice to borrow all the bits, take a pic, then give all the bits back.

As i have my fav Monster2 pc (to be updated), i dont need a wood pc.

This was really done coz i can and coz i thought it would be nice to build, and wanted to use wood skills as i work with wood now.

Ive been looking at a second woodpc 1.01, as i want to cut the panels from a solid piece, so would be a brilliant colour match.

Ive got my eye on the wood i need to use, i just need time to push it through the rip saw etc and to prep it up.

Dam 2 woodpcs that i dont need.

    Cheers mr 45.

When you going to sponsor me?

I must look into the door handle slot hole etc as i cant open the door with that magnet locking it shut.

Monday hopefully, will sort that out.

Kid, thats not impossible as such, if i start a new one that works out better, no reason i cant give it away, will see how it goes.

It may be though that my first wood build and may decide to keep it, but we will see.

    (It will be empty though)

Theres been no major cost to me, and time wise im not bothered because its what i like to do.

I tend to build and mod for fun which is nice.

Monster2 is my main pc that i use and love it, so other builds now really for something to do.

First one was nice, but the OCD column needed a win with that wood showing through :) I would have done the same thing :thumb:

You have created a wonderful build and given hours of enjoyment to many, so to you PabloFunky, hats off.
Building just for the fun and leaving it empty, I love it. :) Look forward to the next play-time adventure. :thumb:

This is a blinding little build. Love it. Makes me want to have a go at a woody some time myself.
Looking really good, that top grill adds a nice contrast to the over all look of the build...nice work dude.
