So I use my 360 to stream from my PC on my HDTV, but I am having a problem with naming them. As most torrents have have shortened names like "xmple.xvid.axxo" I renamed them proper on my PC ie. "Example" but the XBOX is not recognizing the change. I rebooted both machines several times and cleared the cache on the XBOX, anyone have a clue? Its making my movie collection look pretty shabby.:wallbash:

you need the .avi bit at the end and not the .axxo.

What are you using to stream anyway?

i know that, they stream just fine using windows as long as media player knows they are there. But I seem to have over looked media player and the problem is fixed now.

Sometimes I get a problem where torrents arn't recognised by the 360. For some reason the encoded files need to have .AVI instead of .avi to be recognised! (obviously, downloading encoded versions or using x360encoder)
