Have any games implemented a mobile gaming component - one which you can continue partsof the game with whilst away from the pc?

A bit like the way the Dreamcast memory card could contain your character and you could do mini arcade games on it to level up etc? Or maybe just being able to configure your kit before going back to the main machine to play the main game?

It would be good if the Total War mobile activity on the strategic screen could translate onto your main pc when you wanted to fight a battle. Or in the sports games you could mange the team on the mobile then log in to play the match on the PC.

Fantastic idea, don't know of it being implemented sadly.

    Would be very clever though.

The Dreamcast was beyond its time. It's a shame it died.

I got a second hand one when I was a kid and I loved it so much, I think I cried when it broke :waah:.

I think something similar could be done today but using smartphones/tablets instead of a memory card.

I sitll have mine! Although it no longer gets much use!
Wouldn't it be good to monitor your DayZ character on your phone whilst out and about!
