    $10,000 cnc, no AC...
    You really need to set up an area you can clamp smaller MDF sheets to, and try the painter's tape/glue technique. 90% of your milling will be little parts anyway.

    Dude high wattage AC here that's actually practical for the space is $$$, but it's on the horizon for sure. I've got a portable unit for emergency use around the house (handy since we're in a heat wave atm) which will do the job okay but the heat being pushed out by the machines is north of its limit.

    The superglue technique is boss, used it a fair few times now. Interestingly enough most of my milling is with fairly large pieces atm as folks request panel reservoirs etc. so they'd be really vacuum table friendly. I'm going to be redoing tonnes of workholding stuff pretty soon though now that I'm better kitted out for things.
