I went to Tesco on my way home from work and got some gluten-free flour so Law and I could have pancakes They had no lemon juice left though :/ So we just had loads of sugar.... *n
Reminds me of rice modding at uni a couple of years ago Martin at work got me last week as well. Was going to Tesco and asked him to get me two pints of red (skimmed) milk. Came back with literally red milk.
I've always used orange juice, got to be real though, none of yer carton stuff, and a spread of golden syrup first, then a sprinkle of sugar. 1k calories per gob full, but the orange is sooo healthy.
are you guys talking about oranges and lemons in the pancakes, or a drink on the side? my mom buys our pancakes, because she can't make them right. i like to nuke them frozen with syrup slathered on top. i gotta go make some now.
my god that looks diusting, i was hoping for some nice pattern with the sauce of something, but that.... just euw !!!!
They're talking about using lemon/orange juice as a condiment exactly the same as if you'd put syrup, sugar or topping on them. Lemon/sugar is my favorite mix. Yummy.
You should have modded the pancake mix with Nesquik... we made some freakin pro strawberry/chocolate/banana(/vanilla if you can find it) flavoured pancakes last year.
i think your torch will go out when you swim across the pond. maybe a nice Luxeon LED torch with batteries in the handle.
Pancakes *have* to be cooked in lard. You can't beat sugar and lemonjuice, although you can throw runny honey or syrup or orange juice into the mix (well, on the top, but you know what I mean) too. 'Tis a shame we could only manage to come up with 12" pancakes. - H.
See my location. Having perfected the art of battery in the Yorkshire Pud, pancakes are easy-peasy to us. The various examples above could pass as poppadoms or, in the case of the effort by fuzzball, an unfortunate sponge cake.
