MOKO:opensource cheaper iphone..?

    I came across this here . Nice screen shots too, could this be cheaper competition for the iphone ? It's not a like for like comparison, but seems to support some of the iphone features like (touchscreen) but might be a lot less expensive.

    Looks funky....

    Not too sure on all this touch screen nonsence though... I prefer buttons that give feedback.

    Agreed, I have a touchscreen organizer, I would prefer buttons though, they just seem a bit more positive.

    I don't see the big deal about the iPhone (and by association MOKO) - aren't they just PDAs with phone functionality builtin (à la the XDA series which has been around for ages)?

    Agreed, the whole world+dog seems to be raving about things that have been in smartphones/windows mobile devices for years.

    I belive the word we are looking for is "fanboy-ism" specifically Apple Fanboy-ism.
