As already said the big problem with V7 is the inconsistency points wise from WU to WU... my 2600K @ 4.5 GHz has just produced 19340 pts in the last 24 hours, normally around 33K PPD. TaRkA I would be interested to know whether the 43K PPD you quote was actually achieved over a complete 24 hour period or just a snapshot of a particular WU taken from FAHControl.
One box, you and me both, my 2700k at 4.5Ghz produced about the same 19K the last 24hrs, All i was getting was 7904 and a varying TPF of 3.30-3.50.
This was for a singular unit, cannot remember what one though. I currently have a P7024 and I am getting 31k PPD. Before that I had a P7014 and I was getting only 4k PPD. My PPD on EOC stats is miles out currently, that's because I took a break from folding and have only been back for about 3 days, even then its been a little sporadic as my missus keeps forgetting that I have got back into it and keeps turning the ****ing PC off.
Good to have you back TaRka. Switched over to V7 last night. Was just running vware and basic folding image and getting average 25kppd running on 7 cores. Now, today it has been showing 18k-21kppd on all 8 cores. Will have to wait and see, but so far its not looking good.
Hmmm interesting, will have a play with this later in the week, I don't normally touch V7 in any way but might have a go with it on a 12-core Win 7 box and see what happens with the a4 units...
Just installed V7 on a machine with a stock i7 2600 and its running the A4 core showing between 14-15,000 PPD, does anyone know if the PPD shown within the FAH Client Control includes the bonus or not?
