mouse lock up on cold boot windows 10

can anybody help me out i was using a func MS-32 mouse but decided to back to my cm storm inferno which fits my hands a bit better so my windows 10 is a fresh install the mouse seems to lock up no response on boot up but on other occasions it will be ok tried removing the cm software which makes no difference

have you tried it in a different USB port ? (probably have, but worth checking)

I had a similar issue with a Logitech keyboard, would refuse to work on fresh boot until it was unplugged/plugged back in - turned out it was a generic USB driver issue after a windows update.

 

Give the Windows USB fix-it a try.
