    Hello boys and girls. Hope you're all doing well.

    I have a question for you. I've recently been playing Metal Gear Solid V, and having an absolute blast with it, on the PC. I've played MGS 1-4 using the Dual-shock controllers on the Playsation consoles.Seeing as this was the first on the PC, and I've decided against buying a PS4 for the time being, I decided to play it with a mouse and keyboard.

    The mouse I use is the original Coolermaster Sentinel Advance which has a very displeasing middle button/scroll wheel. To be honest, I've always hated it and I'm surprised I've kept it this long. In MGS V, when using your binoculars, you need to either press 'V' or use the middle mouse button on your mouse to go through the viewing ranges. Alternatively you can scroll but that takes the p*ss.

    Long story(?) short, which mouse has a nice and responsive, non-spongy, middle button click? Also, I have small-ish hands, so big mice is out of the question. I appreciate any and all responses.

    Check the logitech proteus core.

    I have to place my mouse on a cork padded mouse pad to reduce the CH-CHUNK sound it makes through my desk mic. A very solid clunk.

    At work I have a "Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse 2.0" that I like the middle click on, I use it all the time to open new tabs. It's about the same resistance and travel as the other two buttons on it.

    On my mouse at home, which escapes me, it has a really heavy middle click that I really don't like, it feels as notmeagain describes his (hers? unlikely!).

    Perhaps this is one of those occasions where you'd be best trying things in shops?

    Thanks for responses guys. I kinda got impatient and ordered the Razer Deathadder Chroma. I was interested in the Logitech G402 and G502, but the additional buttons felt unnecessary for my needs. I'm not a big FPS player or MMO fella.

    Well, I'm a bit late, but I found the Logitech M705/Marathon mouse perfect. It's a small mouse and has a button that 'unlocks' the scroll wheel, which I have found very handy for zooming in and out in MGSV.

    :lol::dremel::nono:

    Yessir.

    Anywho, still sticking by the logitech series for best click. My Razer felt like jelly, the RAT9 was gross, and the Gigabyte i got with my Mobo was like poking rubber.
