I use an OK wired mouse that suits me just fine plugged into the laptop, and I'm going to be building a complete new build for gaming, and I'm struggling to find a mouse I like. The last gaming mouse that I truly loved was the Logitec MX1000 (I still have it as it happens, but lost the charger). What is a good gaming mouse these days? Doesn't need a trillion buttons, all the better if it doesn't have any horrific RGB shite, wired over wireless, although not a deal breaker. Ideally something similar to the MX1000 would be perfect, but not bothered about which brand/company it's from. TIA
Tom's Hardware did a roundup earlier this week. https://www.tomshardware.com/best-picks/best-gaming-mouse
I have a Roccat pure owl eye. I have hands on the smaller side so suits me great, big hands may struggle though. I came from the legendary mx510, which I loved and is very similar to the mx1000, but for me the Roccat was an upgrade.
Are there any bricks and mortar stores that have a selection of mice these days? Or is it just Curry’s and independent stores?
Do you have big hands? If so look into the Corsair Ironclaw, they do it in both wired/wireless... You can fully customise/turn off the RGB as you please
