your categories are pretty rediculous. the shuffle is in with the gmini? the height of the player is the worst thing to use to put them into categories. the gmini weighs 5.4 times as much as the shuffle and has 5 times the volume. good categories for mp3 players are -hard drive -micro hard drive -flash good comparisonts are weigh and volume (length x width x height = volume). volume is useful since just comparing dimenions doesnt give the real story.
horizontal dimensions and thickness would also help. also, maybe put the review links by the other stats. it could be annoying when comparing items. other than that, great work
Here I have the iaudio M3 , its a great little gadget The external screen can get a bit annoying though :S
I've also got the M3. Nice player although you can bin the free headphones (as with most players). The quirkyness of the remote control you can get used to, and it sure beats fiddling around in your pocket when you want to skip tracks or figure out exactly what it is that you're listening to... which happens surprisingly often with 20Gbs of music. Only real minus I've come across is that the random play isn't. Despite having the latest firmware that supposedly fixes the problem.
A poll would be a great addition, listing the top players so we can see what most people like. I need a new one, large drive, good UI, good sound quality and afordable price, sugestions?
I've done a damn thread with a poll, it's called "your mp3 player ". Is my work not appreciated? <A88>
Was wondering about Samsung's YP-Z5F mp3 player. Have read several reviews but was hoping for someone, like you, who has cast a much bigger net for the review of music players, for their view. For a visual jog of memory, you can visit this one www.blackseduction.sg
There the entire line of Truly MP3 Players http://truly.net http://www.picnroll.com All reviews I read were good, except cnet, but supposidly the reviewer got a preproduction model so :-\. Im thinking of getting the 313x so expect a review from me. -- Sorry I havent had time to read the thread so I thought I'd just give this shoutout.
I hear the new Toshiba Gigabeat S is pretty good. Sorta tempted to get it as a replacement for my iPod to be honest lol.
hey, that was one seriously comprehensive compilation - do you think you could add the samsung yp-z5f into the list and match it against the rest? i'm looking into that player. thanks!
The Sandisk Sansa players aren't listed AFAICS. Bit-Tech did a great review here Basically, think of an iPod nano but better in every way apart from size (its the thickness of two pencils ).
