I would suggest the iPod. It's very easy to use, not too complicated. ;)

But if you want to save a few bucks you could always get a Creative player .

sorry for invading but i have a question and didnt wona start a new thread about the same thing! :worried:

My brother is going away around the world for 9 months, and needs an MP3 player, but it has to take standerd batteries, and be atleast 20Gb the higher the better,

i would give him mine ( Creative Zen extra ) ,but it would run out of power by the time he got to new zealand,

are there any that can accept battery packs?

    Thanks.

yes i know they are :eyebrow: . but when most of his time is spent moving especially around russia and vietnam and those areas its much easyer to buy new batteries then it is to buy an adaptor for every damn country he goes to. :eeek:

They make battery packs for cd players there must be some for mp3 players?

well, you can buy adapters that are universal for almost all countries. besides, there are only, what, like, 4 different plug types worldwide.... european prong, american prong, australian prong, asia prong, UK. OK five.

i only say this because if you stick to normal batteries, it will cost greatly in the long run, and your choices are severely limited in players.

besides, universal adapters are cheap and bloody useful!

Way to hijack a thread, anyway to the original poster. Are you looking for an mp3 player with a large storage capacity? Small? Something that doesnt have a screen?
