finaly some pictures and my idee of my 3e project. ime building my case form 2 matirials: mdf and alu dymond plate. i have already build my mdf case (inner case) and i have the outer case to, i had some guy i know weld it for me because i cant weld alu :waah: .

ime going to put the mdf case inside the alu case because mdf is easy to mound my stuf to. and wen its don the outer case is smoother because i dont have to screw every thing on the alu plate.
also ime going to put 2 more 120 mm fans in my case one on the top and one on the bottom i dont know wy (beacuse its cool) with 2 more fan controlers because i like it sillent.

the feet of my case are going to be alu round bar 50mm in diameter were ime going to mill a quarter peas out off, with 25mm high 50mm diameter perspex bottom feet (with green leds in it) screwd onto the alu bar.

ime going to use glass or perspers windows on the left side and the left side is going to open like a 2doors window with 1 side hooks underneeth the other side. look at the sidefew foto the middel line is going to be the line were ime going to cut the dymon plate in half and the striped line next to the middel line is going to be the mdf saw line.

here are the foto's, bad picture's but thees are drawings i made from the front side and the left side you see the 120 mm fan the 5 knobs from the fancontrolers and the alu/perspex feet the glass windows and the window like doors.

perspex bar to perspex feet 25mm high 8mm M20X1 treath and a curfed peas ad the bottom to spread the light.(i hope):

why do you need the mdf? isn't the diamond plate enough for stability?

thanks for the replays. pinkbike dos not remove the pictures if you see its for forum use :D . and i use the mdf for mount every thing onto so the outside of the case is smoother.

jojo finaly an update i had almoost now time to work on this project so here are some foto's from my case: i sawd some holes in it and i made a mold for my 120 mm fans. also i made an motherboard bracket from 2 cases i hade becaus i liked the rear side off 1 and the motherboard hanger from the other.

the fan mold with a fan mounted on.

the metal case with holes in it. (front side and rear side)

the wooden case with holes in it.

the wooden case inside the metal case you can see that the holes inside the wooden case are bigger then thee are in the metal case. i did this because the fans are than 12 to 18mm deeper than normal wat meens more space inside the case.

this is my motherboard bracked made from of 2 old ones.

and finaly all the things togheter.

work in progress (turning and milling the alu case feet pictures soon)

    see you next time, rambo

just a small update from my cd,hdd hanger and a no cd plate that i can plase in if i only juse 1 cd drive. the cd,hdd hanger was from my old sweex case and i drillt out all the nails and replaset the bottem and the top for 8mm mdf because the bottom is not tuching the bottom of my case. the top has to be 8mm mdf because its a spacer to get it in the richt position.

    the hanger:

the two hamer in bolts (or somthing) to mount the hanger:
