Hi, I've owned an Hyundai W240D v1 since January 2008. I posted about a year ago about blue flickering horizontal lines appearing at certain contrast/brightness ratios. This would also happen during video playback, mainly MKV files. Only a few weeks ago the monitor has developed some strange habits, starting off with flickering brightness and the blue lines being replaced by white lines. Now it has culminated in the following behaviour, is it my graphics card or is my monitor dying and require sending back under warranty? I've had to host the video on Youtube and it was shot on my digital camera, but you get the idea of what is happening. It only seems to be happening on certain websites and backgrounds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeS7oLpd8ZE
Tried switching DVI ports on my graphics card. Will dig out my old monitor and try a DVI-VGA connection. It never happened when I had my Toshiba EP-30 hooked up over HDMI.
Switched over to an VGA input, apart from the inferior quality, I thought it had cleared it up, although now the monitor is starting to flicker in terms of brightness. Well it seems that the DVI port on the monitor has had it. Tried an old TFT monitor and that works fine, so it looks like I'm going to have to start the nice process of sending this thing back.
