Hi guys. Tomorrow is paypay and i've decided to kit my old guitar up my idea is to give the whole thing a new paint job, im thinking electric blue, and replacing the pic guard with either and piece of plexi or some of that perforated sheet metal stuff from kustompcs. So I have three questions... 1. plexi or perf? 2. Does anyone know of any sites that deal with guitar mods, esp the painting aspect. and 3. Will car spray paint do the job? btw the guitar is an encore strat copy, doesnt really matter if I mess it up cos i'll still have my ibanez oh and do you guys want pics when im done, maybe do a project log? edit: Okies after a lil bit of looking I found these guys https://www.alsacorp.com/paints.htm some really good stuff, only thing is that i dont want to pay £200 ish for a paint job, I will if I have to, but i'd sooner find someone cheeper.
