    Im running windows 2000 Server and was wondering how i set it up with DNS and as a web server..ive already registered my domain,,

    anyoe have any links that would help?

    if you're planning on hosting a website from it, you really neeed a stable internet link, and the faster the better.

    What's you internet connection ?

    do you have a static IP address ?

    Check out http://www.dslwebserver.com/. They have a really awasome guide on setting up a webserver on a dsl or cable modem. Good luck.

    If you are gonna run a web server, register the domain (which youn have done), talk with your ISP and negotiate prices on a static IP address. Then register your website with major search engines like yahoo, google and alta vista to get wide coverage.
