Just thought I would share. Dug into my new toy this week, a Raspberry Pi 2. Got it set up to replace my home IIS server. Wasn't too comfortable with it sitting out on the desk, so threw a quick & dirty little case together to protect it.

Here it was sitting out on the desk.

    Grabbed some sheet metal.

    And some acrylic.

Cut them down to size, taped them together and filed them smooth.

Added a quick grid and drilled the holes.

    No cracks, yay!

Chopped down a dead pen to 10mm & 20mm sections for spacers.

And filed them down to size.

    Test fit on the screws.

Turned out the screws were too wide for the pi holes... :sigh: sooooo... I threw some paper clips in there until I could get to the hardware store.

Threw some white paint on the parts.

Cleaned up the look fairly well and got rid of the writing on the pen.

Then tagging along with the wife on a trip to the craft store found some funky screw caps and dowelling to finish it up. :thumb:

Quick little project, but I'm MUCH happier having it sitting in this on the desk. :D
