hey all this is my case the front the side the whole thing with the side on and the top with my beautiful cd burner window mod with my red LED inside hehehe :dude: a close-up of the burner mod the whole thing well so far ive dont quite alot... but im not finished yet i have obviously painted it silver with black inside. i have stealthed both cd drives, i have added support for my playstation controllers http://www.ntpad.com.ar (they work in all games that support game pads), the switches control 7v/12v for my fans and the inside blacklight, blue floppy and power LED mod, network activity LED moved upfront, fan intake with filter (pond pump filter) in the front, side and top windows, rounded IDE cables, split loom tubing on everything inside, and there a bit more but not important. phew... comments and suggestions more than welcome Eric Edit: changed host - mashie
yeah i had to put two windows in because there is a little thing in the middle that helps the cd from wobbling... i thought it would be inportant to have seeing as this is my cd burner and i dont like coasters Eric
That's pretty cool, I like your top window. The thin tubing looks quite good. That's a great idea what you did with the playstation controllers. I'd like to do that, but I'd have to get my hands on an old PSX. Your CD burner looks amazing. I'm thinking of doing that to my CD drive, but I'm not sure if it'll interfere with any of the components. Either way, nice job! Can't wait to see the full finished job.
yah... ive been working on this case for about a year now... when i think im done i take it apart and do something else again KONG: my playstation broke when i had a mod chip put in, so i decided to take it apart and use the controller unit in my computer, because i saw somebody else do it with extension cords for the controllers. i play playstation with ePXSe its a psx emu Reaper_Unreal: i was also worried about interfering with compontets but i just took it apart and inspected everything first to make sure it would all work... thats why i ended up putting two windows in... anyways i was also thinking of an LCD screen but i havent got one yet Eric
