Here is a complete list I think

    FX98 - Pot 100ohm
    RK90 - Brushed Aluminium Knob
    YW41 - Push-To-Make Switch
    YY40 - 5mm LED Holder
    CK48 - 5mm 12v Red LED
    JW65 - Molex female
    BX96 - PCB Latch 3-way
    BX97 - Socket Housing 3-way
    YW25 - PCB Termials (10pcs)
    BF88 - Heatshrink
    FA33 - Wire Red 10m 3A (16/0.2)
    FA26 - Wire Black 10m 3A (16/0.2)

The total project cost about £24 excluding paint.

    very nice :)
that's one of the neatest baybus/rheobusses i've seen
do you fancy writing us an article about it?

people please note these are 12v LED's and you will blow up normal LED's if you don't use an appropriate resistor.

one change i would make to this is wire it slightly differently so i had off/7-12 rather than off/0-12 - most fan's won't operate below 7v.

If you can get 12V LEDs, why do people bother with the lower voltage ones? Surely it's easier just to use the 12V without any resistors/resistor networks?!

Or have i lost the plot again?

Maplins do blue LEDs not sure about 12v blue LEDs thou'.

I think I will have to get writing on an article then, don't know how good it will be as I am not the best writer in the world.

For 3mm blue LEDs, call Rapid Electronics on 01206 751166.

They have the following ones listed:
    Code:
COlour If	Vf Vf Vr Lum (mcd) View	Wave
max	typ.	max.	max.	@If (20ma)	angle	length

    Waterclear 30mA	3.7v	4.0v	5.0v	100mcd 30 deg	450mm
    Bright water clear	30mA	3.7v	4.0v	5.0v	550mcd 30 deg	470mm
    Diffused blue 30mA	4.5v	5.5v	5.0v	40mcd 60 deg	430mm
    Transparent blue	30mA	4.5v	5.5v	5.0v	60mcd 20 deg	430mm

    			ordercode	1+	10+
    waterclear 55-1470 0.99	0.75
    bright water clear	55-1475 0.99	0.75
    diffused blue 55-1460 0.70	0.52
    transparent blue	55-1465 0.70	0.52

They are all part of the Kingbright L-934M series of LEDs.

The prices are from an older catalog, so they may have changed by a few pence (my current catalog is at home). Prices are ex VAT and there is a £2.50 delivery charge on orders under £30.

I'm going to be ordering some more stuff from them soonish, so if you want to combine orders, let me know.

    cheers bursar!
i'm after replacing my hub lights on the front of my computer... i managed to kill one of the 3mm green led's and had to replace it with a red one!
i'll need 10 of the waterclear ones please.. tell me what it comes to (i'll assume it's £7.50 + P&P etc) and i'll send you a cheque.

    pity the website isn't live...
