"Now, Intel is pulling out all the stops. It seems with the much anticipated 3.06GHz Pentium 4, Intel still hasn't lost its steam. Instead, it has been busy setting the stage and rolling out the red carpet for what is ahead. Since the i845E was a success, Intel has seemingly decided to follow where it left of. Today, Intel is lifting the NDA on their new chipsets; the i845PE and i845GE dubbed after their forerunners, the i845E and i845G. The i845PE is based on the i845E chipset architecture, while including a few improvements. The i845PE unveiling marks Intel's official support for the DDR333 standard."
