Just got a 1.4, alpha, arctic silver2 in the mail, never done it before and would like a pic of what the AS2 should look like after it's applied.
Mate, you don't really need pics for that. Just apply a thin layer (about the thickness of a sheet of paper) spead evenly. This should only be on the core of the CPU as that is where the heat transfers to the heatsink. Just rememeber, thin and Even!
its not too hard to get thin either, it tends to spread itself out pretty evenly. like frosting a cookie! what it should look like? um the core shoudl be covered in AS, so it would be silver....
