iirc its around 75/111 that you get the skyline, it is well worth it

 

What about the RX7, or some of the other cars I've listed, if you can remember any of them roughly off the top of your head.

Also, does how you perform in the game affect when cars are unlocked, or are they set to come in at a particular point?

Atleast you can get past the main menu. My sound doesnt even carry on, everything locks up and i have to press reset.

Ah well il just have to save up and buy the proper game.

 

fixed it now, if i leave the res at 800*600 it loads up the next race fine, been playing it all day at that res and its been working great. 800*600 isnt actually that bad as long as you've got aa and af on.

Great game, picked it up a week ago and finished it this past Friday. Most fun I've had playing a game in awhile. Well a racing game anyway.

To clear up a couple of things, you get the 350Z on race 72/73, the RX7 on race 74/75, and the Skyline on race 79. After about race 85-90 it starts to get ALOT more difficult too, even on Easy. All of the cars and upgrade options are unlocked by going through underground mode, and the style points unlocks all the vinyls and 5 custom cars that can be used in quick race mode only. The max amount of style points to unlock everything is 3 million, yes, that's right, 3,000,000.

I raced through the game till I had a 4 star Eclipse, then just ran about 25 runs on drift track 5, with 10 laps each. Most drift points I racked up was over750K and ended up getting about 280K style points b/c of the multiplier. Hope that clears up a couple things.

EDIT: Found a link to a walkthrough. For US version but I doubt anything is changed for other regions.

there is one patch out so far, just use the html shortcut in create's in the nfsu program group in your start menu and it will auto update it, you just have to say yes when the popup appears.

I wish ea would bring out an anti-cheat patch for online as the amount of lamers on there is unbelievable, i mean people doing drag races at 400mph+ and drivign along walls and all kinds of stupid stuff.

 

mmm ok, is it sposed to download files onto my desktop? or should it install it automatically?

I got a folder called 'fx' and a file called 'speed.exe'
