It may not be the drivers.

When and where does it crash?

What motherboard and hardware do you use?

quick answer: i recommend the newest omega drivers from here

micb is absolutely right though. it might not be that. Have you only just started to experience the problems since a recent driver update?

They're very much optimised - that's the point of them. They're what most overclockers/benchmarkers use, unless they're limited to WHQL-certified releases by some competition or other.

Yes it happens when I am playing Call of Duty and NOLF2. I have read all the threads and looked at the omega driver site. But there does not seem to be a driver that works for everyone. Some ppl think that the omega drivers are good and others suggest using latest ATI drivers which I am so I am unsure what to do for the best. Should I keep trying different drivers until I find one that works?

If you are chopping + changing drivers then make sure to completely uninstall each lot before you put the others on.

    some help here

Have downloaded latest Omega driver and followed instructions to install. Its working ok but Call of Duty still crashes in single player tho only game is crashing and not the pc. So will try this for a while as I am not keen on chopping and changing drivers.

Catalyst 3.7 should solve your problem, check under www.ati.com under the driver history

I think ATI will solve this issue under the new Catalyst 4.0 for the VPU recover problems
