ok so i got a pc 2 mod and i cant boot it no internal parts .... so i need to know how to tell what size proc i have its a AMD Athlon axda2400dkv3c 9194166280204 aiucb0243spew 1999 AMD and its socket T462 any help is GREATLY appreciated!!
Don't expect a response within 12hours. Some of us can be quite busy. (This should be under tech support btw) If you search for the first code you'd find http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/K7/AMD-Athlon XP 2400+ - AXDA2400DKV3C.html Which would teach you that you have a 2400+ (2.0GHz)
You don't need a HD to get into the BIOS... I've gotten into the BIOS with just a keyboard, processor, power supply, and motherboard. I do that all the time to check out CPU frequencies using old boards lying in my room.
