So I just bought this monitor and am excited to start using 120Hz (and supposedly 240Hz). However being a noob totally forgot to check if my graphics card had the right display ports. It came with a Display Port cable but my 7970 doesn't have the necessary port for it. Can I just get an Display Port to HDMI adapter and expect no problems or have I gone and blown £££ on a monitor I can't take advantage of? Thanks.

If that's your card in the link then you have two mini Displayport connectors. You just need to get a mini Displayport to Displayport cable or an adapter. I don't think you can go from HDMI to Displayport as HDMI doesn't support 120hz I think.

    Here's a suitable cable.
