I was lucky enough to get my lad a gigabyte B550 GAMING X V2, 5700X cpu and 32gb of 3200mhz DDR4 for the ludicrous price of £35. Bargain price was part payment for helping the a friend by fitting his new gear for him and the fact that he's a college friend of my lads. Still an unbelievable deal.

I have a Thermalright phantom spirit cooler and he already has plenty of SSD's both sata and nvme but he is toying with the idea of getting a 1tb nvme.

He needs a new case as he has never been fond of his Inwin case with it's stupid sliding front.

Any recommendations on decent cases around the £70 to £80 mark and maybe a recommendation for a half decent 750w PSU to give him some future upgrade room for a 4060ti.

Only case requirements are that it can't be really wide as he has his one inserted into his desk and it would have to have front mounted usb ports.

Plenty of good cases around that price.
    Corsair 4000D Airflow
    Corsair 3000D Airflow
    NZXT H5 flow
    Fractal Design Pop Air
    Fractal Design Meshify C
Deepcool Matrexx 55 Mesh (more budget friendly, a few more sharp edges, I've built in it)

Some nice cases but only the budget one has front usb, I'll have to measure up to see if the other cases once inserted into the desk will still have their ports accessible.

USB3 hubs are pretty cheap, and can sit on the desk for even easier access.

They can even be had with velcro and mounting screws, for fitting to the underside of a desk for a cleaner look. I have this one:-

A hub could be the answer and I love the fact you can actually screw that one in place. He has a large heavy pine desk and his case is in what used to be a narrow cupboard with the door removed.

In the other cupboard I have mounted a 6 way switched extension so he can manually power off all of his VR kit and loves the practicality of it so having a usb hub mounted in there as well would be ideal
