Its an arse aint it kna Having a quick flick through the HTML I found this... bgcolor="#0E233C" At the best of times IE cant even display red properly using hex values let alown a shade of blue A quick solution for IE being poor is to do a 1px X 1px image in photoshop with that colour using a fully uncompressed JPG and use it as the background instead of the bgcolor. Ive had mixed results with that method in the past but its worked more than not. But after saying all that who really cares 99.9% of all computers will be able to display it properly anyway.
Hope you are an Aberdonian too - they are the friendliest peeps on earth! Visit quite often - I usually do a B & B trail over to Inverness and back down again every 2 or 3 months. We started our business from Kirkcaldy - I think the fiirst 20 members of our forums are from there too - LOL For ages, it seemed like they were gonna be the only members too!
Ah, no such luke - but I'd like to think I've managed to pick up some of it over the years Gee, I havent been out Inverness way for a good few years now - guess its easiest to overlook things when they're right under your nose, so to speak. Ahh, lol, been there on the old forums thing - always nice when things pickup and start blossoming on their own
i see the colour difference altho its very faint, opera 6 btw, and the site don't QUITE work properly but is close enuff mebbe i just got sharper eyes than you kna
One advice: don't do that! For the ones with a slower PC (me ) it will take ages before the background is painted, so, don't do that!
