We finally got a new family computer which is used for the internet, solitare....


We went from a 6 year old Hp with a celeron, 256MB ram, 60 GB HDD to a home built with a E6550, Gigabyte G31M-ES2L, 2 GB ram, 250 WD HDD


Plus I put a Q6600 into my rendering system


Now I don't have to wait for anything

 

Congrats on the new hardware. Nah, you're demands will just grow with your hardware. Mine sure did.

My new Q6600 is acting weird, ever since I replace the old E6550 with the Q6600


it boots up fine but when I go to the admin account on XP Pro it will show the desk top for a few secounds then reboots but if I go onto my guest account it works just fine no random reboots

 

I want a Q6600... I'll take it off your hands

 

you use accounts, why?

 

when the family computer was down I let my brother check pictures on it and I didn't want him using my admin account
