Since evryone else is mentioning that they got new jobs ( it's the season for that i guess...), I start my new job June 1st. I will no longer have a job a trained chimp can do. i'm gonna be making about $22,000 yr ( that's about £12,447), plus good bennies (like a vision plan that's not called "squinting") thast start on day one. I will be doing internal customer support for a insurance brokerage firm.

right now it is. i know people that we making 2 to 3 times that before they were downsized. now they are lucky to get jobs that'll pay that well. and even though it's a salaried position, i can still get OT if it's available (like if someone on a different shift calls in sick or something).
my boss said she wouldn't accept my resignation (i'm well liked there), so i told her i'd have fun trying to get fired :D .
