Hi guys, I guess I have to bother you yet again with a stupid question... I'm looking for a new mobile phone. The last one I had was the old Nokia 3210, which is kinda... old. Never used it. However I've got trouble remembering things, so I'd like a mobile phone with an inbuild calendar that will help me remember. Great would be a calendar software that will synchronize with a computer software like Outlook or google using WLAN. Oh, and no Apple please. Everything else is pretty much unimportant. As you can probably guess by the model I have right now, I have no idea about phones at all, but I'm sure you do. I'd like a phone without a contract, as I do hardly text or call anybody. I might get a contract if the phone is worth it, but I'd prefer a phone without one. Budget is around 200-250€, preferably cheaper. Any ieas? Thank you!
well, for always-up-to-date Google calendar, any Exchange enabled phone will do. try Nokia N series if you are on that kind of budget if no Apple because you hate iTunes, then for the synced calendar feature, you can get Google exchanged sync that syncs up your calendar with Google calendar wirelessly. no iTunes required.
You can also try the Nokia E51 which is a small business phone. Not too much features you don't need so you could give it a try.
How is the HTC Magic? There's a special offer, I could get it on contract for 1€, and it's got android.
head very good things about it. go for it. i'd love to have an Andriod phone, the OS looks very promising.
It did get quite good scores in reviews as well. There's no 3.5mm plug, but then I wouldn't want to use my phone as a mp3 player, drains the batteries in no time. I've had a look at it in the store, and the booting times are just horrendous. Oh well, it will be in standby most of the time anyway. I think I will go for it and get the black edition. Thanks guys, have some rep.
