Did you also notice the flashing red and green lights on the plane still worked!

Still, I spent much time picking holes in Lost but ultimately enjoyed the show so I may have to keep my "blinkers" on while watching this.

Totally agree, if it assumed the premise that electricity no longer works, then life no longer works either. I might wait to read the synopsis and plot and see what genius idea they conjured up to explain it.

    Gap were still trading iirc

Going on that route we would be dead as well, your hearts sinus rhythm is controlled by a small electrical charge. Good ol bio electricity, another example is the nervous system which is why you can use small charges of electricity to cause muscle reactions. No Leccy, no life end of.

Yes, I know, thus why I said 'life does not work'.

The plot must revolve around that heart shaped locket, it must differentiate between what electricity is allowed to work.

I'm willing to get absorbed into fiction enough to forgo that sometimes it doesn't really add up. There are plot holes in just about everything except the channel 4 news.

Lost had millions of questions, yet it was still a brilliantly executed show.

The high horse high IQ attitudes immediately presented to a freakin trailer on here demotivate me considerably. /forever alone.jpg in occasional enjoyment of fantasy tv shows.

We all like a bit of fiction, don't get me wrong. But there's nothing wrong with a plot that doesn't dismiss the whole idea of how the world works? For example I can forgive the fact that the Marvel films ignore inertia. But a TV series based on electricity not working in electrical devices, but life still existing? Come on......

So the point of the show is they want to turn the lights back on?

Gonna be another drawn out show with sub plots and love stories with some soul searching and sacrifice.

I'll give it a go as I can only judge after, I'll probably like it and it'll get cancelled

Jeez. Would people stop picking at tiny holes in what appears to be one hell of a nice series? It sure as hell beats X-Dancing and Skate-Factor and all the other crap they seem to broadcast now a days.

Exactly! Im able to suspend my disbelief if I like a premise and the characters involved and this looks entertaining (no game of thrones though)

Ok - officially intrigued. Lets hope it last more than one series, unlike Alcatraz. ;)

Or (not JJ Abrahams, I know, but it was a good premise) Awake... I watch one episode, think, hey - not bad - and read the next day it's been canned.

You're basing your opinion on a 2 minute long trailer for a show that is quite far from being aired for the first time. You don't even know that there is categorically no electricity. You don't even know that it is just "no electricity" for god's sake.
