I've been asked to have a look at a laptop that won't go online. It belongs to a teacher and was originally supplied by a school. It's running XP Pro and when l look into the network settings i can see that the lan and 1394 connections are enabled. There is also some sort of network bridge called a MAC Bridge Miniport. I've tried using an XP disc but the laptop complains about it being the wrong disc and l don't want to risk mucking it up. l've even installed a wireless adapter and that won't allow the laptop to connect to my network. Please help
