Memory noob question about hard drive size

    Hi, i think my hard drive is past its time. I need to buy a new one buit i cant remember what size the standard internal hardrives for desktop pc's are is it 2.5" or 3.5"? thanks in advance

    Typically 3.5" but 2.5" work as well with the right mounts!

    another quick question i have p67a gd53 mobo should i get a sata 3 hdd or a sata 2 hdd?

    edit: nevermind a quick google search has answered this for me

    Irrelevant marketing clap trap when it comes to a Hard Drive (HDD). Look for a well spoken of drive!

    do u maybe have any recommendations for a well spoken of drive?

    i currently have a samsung spinpoint f something but its old now and they dont seem to sell them anymore...

    Just get a WD green 1TB. I'm sure they're about £49 now. The ones you've linked are expensive for what you'd use them for.
