Anyone know if it is possible to use someone elses virus definitions? My mate has adsl and it takes him seconds to update his virus definitions. I have a rubbish 56k thing that takes ages to download the same file. Is it possible to copy a file from his Norton folder and use it on my computer to save time? Or is there a remote download thing available so I can bung it on a zip disk via my Uni computer?
virus updates follow the link there you can download the definitions and then apply them to your computer. they also provide the deffinitions split so it will fit on a floppy.
