    My mate just bought a new 80gb ibm hdd from overclockers and he was setting it up wiv his old 8gb and 3gb drives but the 3gb decided not to work so we jammed the molex in back to front and then there was smoke and then flames!

    **** the hdd stopped doing it now all it does wen u plug it in reverse is smell!

    dont worry i have a few hdd's lying around but i have tried it with two other ones and all they do is get hot and smell but no smoke or flames! :( i will keep trying tho

    Ditto... Tried it on a few spares... hmmm wonder if it would need a little extra. hmmm 110V sounds about right... hehe
