After a while of running 3 Monitors in extended desktop I decided to set up Nvidia Surround for my tri sli gtx 580s. Going into Nvidia control panel get the following screen showing only 2 cards possible for sli.

So I went into the configure screen which again shows only 2 cards available or sli but states the attached screens wont be used.

This shows setting up the screens to 2 cards but i assume that if i do so then sli will be running off of 2 not 3 cards. I have the screens set up 1 per gfx card as required last time i set up surround.

I'm probably missing something obvious but does anyone know how to solve this. Was using 280.XX drivers and have even reverted to 275.33 to try to solve this but no joy.

Maybe try turning Auto Select off for which one is doing Physx?

I know this is a really stupid question, but the SLI bridge is in place isn't it? And what motherboard are you using?

The Mobo is an asus p56x58d-e. had tri sli running on this before. sli bridge is in place. another stupid question in return. Is there a correct orientation for the sli bridge? currently got it so the writing is ' the right way up'. Thanks.

Go back to maximise 3d performance and see if you get the tri sli running that way. If nothing else it'll prove that everything is as it should be. And the bridge can only go one way.

Swapped the bridge for another 1. tried swapping the orientation but it doesnt fit properly. Probably to stop people trying it.

Thanks for the rep but Bulldog jeff deserves it as he suggested it.
