Hmm... same layout as 6800gt/u would be quite nice, for all of us nutcases with only-works-with-one-card GPU blocks

*has to wait till midnight to find out for sure

Must admit i've spent the last couple of days trying to get NV-68 blocks to fit on 7800GTX's but i'm struggling with the top 8 memory chips .

.....think i might have to admit defeat and wait for the NV-78 blocks to see how DD are going to get round this.

Air it is for the time being [wheres the smiley with ear defenders lol] currently running at 519 core - 1400 memory :worried:

7200, 7600, 7800 i think is about right its what they did with the nvidia series of cards the 7800 will be a gt (every 1 has confirmed that one) and i think the 7600 and 7200 are going to be released too

    Phil

p.s. the 7800gt has locked pipe lines but they are not laser cut so can be unlocked by good old riva tuner

Well it certainly looks to me like the "Power of 3" dealy is SLI, HDR, and SM 3.0 as MrWillyWonka suggested, and also the launch of the 7800GT.

Already done, so Wonka was right. Top article as always, looks like a great value card, especially if some of the pipes can be unlocked :naughty:

I tried with NVStrap... not at the moment :)

they're disabled rather than hardware masked.
