I'm taking an introduction to networking (Data communications Concepts) course at college this semester, and we have a question on the homework today about the difference between the two.

The only thing that I really could get as the difference is that Nyquist's Theorum figures out the max hypothetical bandwidth of a line, while shannon's law determines the actual channel bandwidth.

    Anyone have a better explanation?
