Day 4 (and last) in the workshop of my university I think I didn't mentioned that two piece of O.A.C will made. One for me, and one for my godfather. When he saw the renders he ordered one right away. So I thought it would be nice to make it special for him... let's engrave his name on it: An another interesting thing is that his O.A.C's hardwers will be different. Let's see some setups with my old motherboard (It died 6-7months ago ): At last the new IO panel... which now fit in perfectly. (My old CM Elite 331 in the right) Stay tuned... next time I will bring the hole thing to home... my father workshop is the best!

With sandpaper... it's gonna be sharpy but you can't cut yourseft with it. Day 6 in my father's workshop The most beautiful thing in joinery is the burnishing... and the best part of it It's never ends When you burnishing and if you think it's smooth enough... wipe the wood's surface with wet clout: Then do the burnishing again Let's paint it: Many-many thanks to my friend Borbély Péter for the oil. It just look shine Stay tuned...
Day 7 in my father's workshop I think these two colors match just fine 8) The new technic to make the R3 to R0 Optical drive in the place: Stay tuned...

Day 12 in my father's workshop Power supply cover checking: (My father is working on something at the top of the pic ) Parts: PCI slots cover checking: The O.A.C gets shape... Let's put a PSU into the O.A.C: The PSU fits into its place precisely :bounce: The fan (the missing fan) is in the right space... Stay tuned...
Day 13 in my father's workshop An another surface treatment: BIG thanks to my dad for he sacrificed the handles for a greater good. Sweet... Stay tuned...
Day 14 in my father's workshop Surface treatment: the second layer is on! Before every oil layer there was a burnishing by hand. Stay tuned...
Day 15 in my father's workshop My old FSP in pieces: Cable sleeving... this new for me... I've never ever sleeved. Let's try it! 8) The two main color: It's gonna be an extension cord: I haven't got any professional tools for this work... So the extension cords came from an old PSU... there are pins at one end at least: It doesn't look good... at all... next time I'll be more careful! Stay tuned... and wish me luck
Looks like it's coming along nicely! It must be a lot of work to clean up and stain all those wooden parts. Are you done already with the wood working?
the case is pretty similar to a Ferrania 1970 super 8 film projector of mine (not sure if it's a compliment or not....) keep a fire estinguisher at hand...
