So Scan have a GTX 275 made by Asus for £149. (http://www.scan.co.uk/shops/nvidia/GTX275.aspx?tr=tr021) I've also seen it for £10 more but with free shipping on Microdirect (http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Home/Product/40970/Asus-GTX-275-896MB-PCI-E-Dual-DVI-HDTV-Out).

And overclockers.co.uk have an own-brand 275 for £159 (no idea who actually makes it). (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-116-OK&tool=3)

Now, hunting around the web, 275s from the bigger brands all seem to start at about £175 minimum and range from there up to £200 for non-OC'd editions.

So, the Asus card on Scan looks like a good deal - I'm just slightly leery of clicking the buy button because it seems to be too good to be true. £25+ cheaper than all the competition? How and why? Does anyone know anything about it, any downsides, any corners Asus have cut to hit that price? (assuming they can do anything like that - it still looks pretty much like reference design in the pics).

Or alternatively, anyone know anything about ocuk own-brand cards?

Anyways, yeah, I'm just after reassurance it really is a good deal and Asus aren't dodgy as a brand (don't think I've ever bought anything by them before).

    Cheers :)

Well the 4870x2 went from £330 to £240 over night and none of those cards are dodgey. So i don't think it is to good to be true.

The 4870 X2 will drop even more when the first DX11 cards arrive. Then it will be a fantastic bargain.
