Sunnyvale, CA—September 6, 2006—OCZ Technology Group, a worldwide leader in innovative, ultra-high performance and high reliability memory, is pleased to announce the opening of the new OCZ Asia Pacific Product Development and Logistics Center, located in Chung Ho City, Taipei County, Taiwan.

With the goal of expanding their product development efforts, improving relations with Taiwan based memory IC manufacturers, and streamlining logistic operations, OCZ Technology opted to launch their APAC operation in Taiwan, due to the maturity of the IT hardware market in the area.

“The global IT hardware marketplace relies on leading edge manufacturers such as OCZ, to continually move technology forward,” stated Ryan Petersen, CEO, OCZ Technology Inc. “The opening of our Taiwan branch will allow us to utilize the considerable regional expertise in IT hardware and memory development to allow OCZ to push technology to heights that were previously unimaginable.“

OCZ’s APAC operation will focus on pushing the technology envelope to an unprecedented level, as well as bringing high end solutions to a level mainstream consumers and gamers can readily afford.

The OCZ APAC office will begin operations on September 6th.
