I am dying to try this one out. My CPU score should be pretty good but my GFX score will only be really good for a giggle.

Although saying that I have not been geting very good comparisons against other stuff in Sandra at all on my CPU tests, I am not sure what needs doing to my set up to get all the speed it should have.

    Specs:

    AMD Xp3000+ @stock
2x512Mb DDR400 matched pair running dual channel (I hope)
    Asus A7N8X Deluxe
    GeForce 3 Ti200 @stock again

There is room in my cooling setup to tweak my CPU I am sure (Alpha PAL 8045) but for some reason everytime I try my mobo just sits there at the post screen saying 'Warning, CPU overspeed' and goes no further, grrrrr

Will download and run it as soon as I get back home (working atm :worried: ) and post back with some 'scores' hehe

Right then first run, no tweaking whatsoever and I get:

    GFX 1,101
    CPU 6,225
    Total 10,078

Like I said, the GFX one was a bit of a giggle, my highest frame rate was 23.77 on the very first test, it seemed anything that had any 'vegetation' in it whatsoever really gave me trouble even just a few strands on the ground or whatever. Need to play around and sort this stuff out, if only I were working I could blow a bit of my shiney student loan on a funky new card. :waah:

    System Specs

    FX5700 256mb

It seems to me that I should be able to get a higher score; but I'm new to benchmarking does anyone have any advice?

for fun, I pushed my 2800+ to 2.4 ghz (thats a 195 mhz FSB) and overclocked my gfx only 5 mhz on mem and core (I don't have a temp sensor on there yet, wanted to be careful) and I scored around 45000. I was extremely pleased with the results of overclocking that much, and I hope to go over 200 mhz stable next week. After running aquamark, my cpu was at 43 C. Only 3 C more than without OC idle, because the ambient was around 85 F...hot. My heatsink is a beast, a thermalright sp97 with a 92mm 2850 rpm fan....its fighting my exhaust fans ATM, when I fix that I will try to push 200 FSB.
