    Hi all,

    I've been asked to help verify a domain for Office 365 - we host a client's site and manage the dns zone file for them. The only thing I am required to do in this process is add the appropriate TXT or MX record to the zone file. There are instructions available for doing this through a domain registrar's control panel but no instructions for just adding the record. As a further complication, we use tinydns for our records.

    The instructions for using a control panel are

    (domain name made anonymous)

    My best guess as to the record I therefore need is the following:

    @example.com:msXXXXXXXX.msv1.invalid:30

    if anyone knows if I've got this correct or what the correct version is then I'd be very grateful.

    Just add the address they give you as another MX record and you'll be fine.
