Are there any decent FPS games on the horizon for 2016? (Doom asides)
Seems as if Wolfenstein was the last decent one.

Well it's kind of a how deep can the submarine go type question.

    This year there will be:

    Overwatch
    Battleborn
    Squad
    A new Battlefield
A new Call of Duty (three sarcastic cheers and a happy clap)
    Rising Storm 2
    Law Breakers
    Shadow Warrior 2
    Homefront 2
A Ghost in the Shell game (no, seriously)

    and some indies.

They could be brilliant, could be terrible. Nobody knows yet.

No mention of Mirror's Edge: Catalyst?

Shadow Warrior 2 is going to be very good if the Gamescom demo I played last year is anything to go by.

    Okay that too.

I thought of Mirror's Edge more as a platformer than a shooter, I loved it, but it didn't leap into my brain when thinking FPS.

I don't think Battlefield or Call of Duty can be classed as decent these days as they are pretty much same old same old.

Have not found a decent FPS in years ... I think Call of Duty 4 was the last linear FPS i enjoyed. Other than that im upto 1560 hours on CSGO and love it!

I would agree, gameplay wise they would be fun but the games have to many issues that make them not really worth bothering with.

Tonight I have tried to play Battlefield 4 and had issues ranging from bullets being stopped by leaves, death from falling over a piece of paper on the floor, to constant packet loss or latency issues but the frame rate etc is rock solid at over 100fps at 4K.

Call Of Duty though is just a mess and nearly impossible to play since Black Op's and MW2.

I have recently gone back to MW3 and am enjoying it.
Looks pretty good too if you wop everything up in the NVidia control panel.
