Hello everyone, I have an old Toshiba laptop, been laying around unused for years. I want to add memory but cannot see where it has to go, been looking for a manual on the net but I can't find one.
    Can anyone help please.

That laptop looks similar to one I have here. If its anything like mine there will be a small compartment underneath with a single screw holding the cover on, the RAM should be in there. Your laptop also has 256MB of ram built onto the motherboard so there might only be one slot and it'll take a maximum of 1GB to take you up to a max of 1280MB.

Thanks lancer, I can now see that the existing memory is soldered onto the MB I was not expecting that, so as you say there is one slot available for a card. Many thanks, Oz.

sometimes they hide a memory slot under the keyboard
